Texture

Texture is an element of art that describes how a pictures feels for example if it is smooth, rough, etc.

The element of art, value, related to texture because it can show you what the texture is without actually feeling/touching the object.

Implied texture is telling what the object is without touching it (By it's appearence).

Real texture is telling what the object is by feeling/ touching. (By how the obejct feels).

Medium



Medium is the graphite inside the tool you are using to create your art work. For example, a    pencil.  The medium of the pencil is the lead inside that is used for drawing and shading.
